The Cyprus National Rally and Speed Championships are no exception to the rule that calls for volunteers to play a key role to many successful events.

All motor sport events require preparations that are not only attributed to competition cars and crews but to a multitude of other people whose contribution is crucial. These behind the scenes workers are entitled to a large share of recognition. Such a large group of people who form the backbone of the success of the Cyprus National Championships and the Cyprus Rally in particular, are the marshals, timekeepers, safety marshals who must be well trained and able to respond even to the smallest detail.

Volunteers can man the Start and Finish Time Controls of the Special Stages, or the Service Park area or be part of a Safety Team in charge of manning intermediary roads thus ensuring the safe running of the event. Volunteers also assist in the smooth movement of both competitors and spectators in the Service Park.

The Cyprus Automobile Association invites anyone interested in volunteering to register with the Cyprus Automobile Association by calling 22 313233 or via email at marshals@caa.com.cy.
